A. MMI is browser-based technology that is already designed specifically for a fully functional mobile experience. With phone browsers being as powerful and responsive as they are, we feel viewing on the browser is the best customer experience for our clients versus a native app in constant need of updating for both the user and MMI.
Q. How recent is the data in MMI?
A. Real Estate transactions cover the last rolling 12 months. Mortgage data covers a rolling 14-month period.
Q. Why am I not seeing data for my area?
A. If you are having trouble finding data in your area, please submit a ticket and our team will investigate. NMLSs are constantly changing and updating and sometimes we need to make minor adjustments.
Q. How can I change my password?
A. The system autogenerates a password for you when your account is created. To change it, simply login by clicking on the link in your welcome email; this will automatically log you into the system. From there, you can change your password by clicking into your "Account Settings" in the top right corner and selecting the Reset Password dropdown.
Q. How do I search Title Companies by State, County and/or City?
Click on the "Title" section in your sidebar navigation. From there, you have the ability to search Title Company by Name and State or Title Rank by State.
Q. How do I find Real Estate Agents that I am Tracking?
A. From "My Workspace," click on the "Real Estate" dropdown then click on "RE Agent Tracking."
From this page you can also see tabs for "RE Agents" and "RE Offices" as well as the agents, whether "My BS Agents" (Buy Side) or "My LS Agents" (List Side), that you are tracking.
Q. What is the timeline for New Listings under the Property tab?
A. Listings are provided by list date and are posted the following day. i.e. All listings for a zip code or city on November 1st are displayed November 2nd. On Nov 2nd, the listings could continue to come in throughout the day depending on when they were posted the previous day. So you may have a different number of listings at the end of the day than beginning of day. An afternoon search will give you the majority of new listings from the previous 24 hours. Listings will continue to come in on Saturday from Friday. However, no listings are provided on Sundays; therefore, Monday you will have both Saturday and Sunday listings displayed.
Q. Can I export data from MMI?
A. Yes, you can export up to 25 contacts from your "Prospect List" at a time. This list will contain basic profile information such as the prospect’s name, company, and the MMI Fastfacts link. Before adding a contact to your prospect list you may want to add their email and phone number. To export contacts from your prospect list, click on the "Prospect List" under "My Activity." Then click "Export Excel."
Note: that MMI is meant to assist you in carefully curating quality Real Estate Agent and LO relationships and therefore mass exporting of contacts is not a current feature.
Q. How soon do we receive a notification after a property is closed?
A. Notifications regarding a transaction closing can depend on when this information is updated and varies depending on the area but generally 24-72 hours.
Q. Where do I find the LO that I added as a favorite (ie. clicked the "Star")?
A. From "My Workspace," click the "Mortgage" dropdown and then click "Loan Officers." You'll find your starred LOs in the "Favorites" tab at the top.

Q. Why can't I change a user's NMLS or email?
A. A User's NMLS and Email are used as unique identifiers in MMI and unfortunately cannot be edited. Should you need to make changes to these user fields, please email us at support@mmi.io.
Q. How soon do we receive notifications after a property is listed?
A. Home Listed notifications are typically sent out within 24 hours of the property hitting the market.
MMI is continually working to provide more value by adding additional tools and adding more coverage areas to the platform. We have been able to expand our coverage areas to over 90% of the U.S. Our listing alerts have expanded into many new areas and are pushed out immediately from the time we receive them. Some markets are quicker to list than others, but, in terms of listing update, we find that our notifications are as fast if not faster other large home search sites across the country.
Q. How do I change a user's access/permissions in my user list?
A. Click on "Manage Seats" under your "My Activity" section in your sidebar navigation. Then click the edit pencil icon to make changes and click "Save."
